INTRODUCTION
Ever sit in bed and think to yourself, Dang, I could really use some fries right now? Well, guess what… you’re in luck! I am so excited to share with you this recipe for THE most delicious and easy homemade fries that my dad taught me when I was younger. They’re called “Pop’s Famous Baked Fries!” Get your taste buds ready for the trip of a lifetime!
INGREDIENTS
6 medium potatoes
1/2 cup canola oil
2 tablespoons Pop's Secret Salt or kosher salt
2 teaspoons ground pepper
INSTRUCTIONS
First, preheat oven to 450 F.
Then, clean and slice the potatoes into roughly uniform french fry shapes (whatever this may look like to you!)
In a large prep bowl, separate french fries, add oil and seasoning. Toss to ensure even coating amongst fries.
Then spread the coated fries on a foil-lined cookie sheet. (Some overlap is acceptable.)
Finally, bake on the middle rack, checking every 15 minutes for a golden brown colour and soft internal texture. (30 min.) Then broil for 5 min.
ENJOY!
