INTRODUCTION

Ever sit in bed and think to yourself, Dang, I could really use some fries right now? Well, guess what… you’re in luck! I am so excited to share with you this recipe for THE most delicious and easy homemade fries that my dad taught me when I was younger. They’re called “Pop’s Famous Baked Fries!” Get your taste buds ready for the trip of a lifetime!

INGREDIENTS

  1. 6 medium potatoes

  2. 1/2 cup canola oil

  3. 2 tablespoons Pop's Secret Salt or kosher salt

  4. 2 teaspoons ground pepper

INSTRUCTIONS

  1. First, preheat oven to 450 F.

  2. Then, clean and slice the potatoes into roughly uniform french fry shapes (whatever this may look like to you!)

  3. In a large prep bowl, separate french fries, add oil and seasoning. Toss to ensure even coating amongst fries.

  4. Then spread the coated fries on a foil-lined cookie sheet. (Some overlap is acceptable.)

  5. Finally, bake on the middle rack, checking every 15 minutes for a golden brown colour and soft internal texture. (30 min.) Then broil for 5 min.
